Currently, the leading conversation trends associated with unemployment benefits are predominantly related to coronavirus topics – fully vaccinated, public health, vaccinated people, disease control, etc.
However, an analysis of the individual narratives associated with unemployment benefits reveals most discussion related to the narrative involves incentivizing unemployed people to go back to work following the pandemic. For example, one article from the Boston Herald discusses a Massachusetts government plan to pay people $1,200 to go back to work. Other key themes include inflation, stimulus payments, and labor shortages.
