Willow Project Is a Leading Narrative Trend in US Congress

As of Tuesday morning, the construction jobs narrative has been amplified by 14 congressional members across 16 unique narratives dating back to May 10. The leading amplifiers of content include Representatives Dan Newhouse (R-WA) and Glenn Thompson (R-PA). Currently, none of the 16 unique narratives have received more than one amplification.

The leading narrative trends associated with construction jobs among congressional members include willow project, high-speed rail, and pumped storage. Willow Project, mentioned 32 times within the 16 relevant narratives, is a ConocoPhillips Alaska oil discovery based in Alaska’s National Petroleum Reserve. The Biden administration recently moved to halt the project until a new environmental review is conducted.
