Ukraine appears ready to launch a major counteroffensive after sustaining months of bombardments by Russian forces. With much of their infrastructure and economy decimated, the Ukrainian government is relying heavily on aid from foreign countries to acquire necessary equipment and supplies. To date, Ukraine has received over $300M worth of military assistance primarily consisting of heavy weapons like artillery shells, armor piercing tank rounds and thermobaric rockets capable of penetrating bunkers. Meanwhile, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has emphasized the importance of continued cooperation with Ukraine to ensure stability in Europe, particularly through economic and military partnerships.
