Perform all aspects of the development life cycle across the stack
Build and maintain web-based applications with clean, scalable, maintainable code
Build and maintain rake tasks and Ruby APIs
Work with other engineers and IT team to architect elegant technical solutions for complex problems
Perform data modeling and architecture development
Review and evaluate application work flow and user experience
Analyze requirements and conduct in-depth technical research
Support team members with code reviews and collaboration
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of Ruby on Rails working experience
Experience as a full stack software engineer
Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs
Strong front-end experience with HTML5, Javascript, CSS
Knowledge of the Javascript ecosystem and its popular libraries, including: npm, webpack, React, AngularJS
Experience with MySQL and Active Record
Experience with Git
Strong communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Nice to have: Linux server administration, AWS cloud experience, CI/CD pipeline management
