— Why Team Training Matters

Individual Knowledge. Organizational Capability.

Organizations perform best when analysts, communicators, leaders, and operational teams evaluate the information environment using a common framework and a standardized analytical language. Without that alignment, even well-trained individuals produce inconsistent assessments, duplicate effort, and reach different conclusions from the same information.

Workforce Readiness Training closes the gap between individual knowledge and organizational capability — giving teams the standardized methodology to make faster, more confident decisions together.

When every member of your team understands how narratives form, spread, and influence decisions, your organization stops reacting to the information environment and starts operating within it with clarity and purpose.
The result is a workforce that shares a standardized analytical methodology, evaluates the information environment consistently, and produces more coordinated, decision-ready analysis.
— What Is Narrative Intelligence?

The Subject Matter Behind the Program.

Narrative Intelligence is the discipline of understanding how information influences perception, decision-making, and behavior. Rather than simply monitoring what is being said, it explains why narratives spread, who they influence, and what strategic effects they are designed to produce.
By developing proficiency on the same platform used by federal agencies and Fortune 100 companies, your team gains more than awareness — they gain an enduring organizational capability. They leave with a standardized methodology for turning information into decision-ready analysis — one that improves with every use.

— Organizational Outcomes

What Your Organization Gains.

Workforce Readiness Training is designed for executive buyers. They are not purchasing a training event — they are investing in an organizational capability their teams will rely on long after the engagement ends. Outcomes include:
Establish consistent analytical standards across teams and functions
Accelerate intelligence production and reduce time-to-decision

Improve cross-functional collaboration through a standardized analytical language
Improve cross-functional collaboration through a standardized analytical language
Increase confidence in decision support across all operational levels
Standardize narrative assessment processes that scale across teams
— Program Design

Standardized Methodology. Live Technology. Custom Scenarios.

This is not an off-the-shelf module. Every engagement is scoped to your team's domain, mission, and operating environment — and built on the same platform your analysts will use the moment the engagement ends.

Standardized Analytical Methodology

When your entire team learns the same analytical approach — narrative decomposition, source evaluation, influence mapping — they assess the information environment with greater consistency. A common methodology eliminates the translation gap between analysts and decision-makers, and improves the reliability of every assessment your organization produces.

A common methodology eliminates the translation gap between analysts and decision-makers, and improves the reliability of every assessment your organization produces.

Custom to Your Environment

Applied scenarios are drawn from narratives relevant to your industry, mission, or threat environment — geopolitical, commercial, reputational, or security-focused. Your team builds applied capability against the specific information dynamics your organization actually faces — so the methodology is immediately operational when the engagement ends.

AI-Enabled Analytical Workflows

Participants develop repeatable analytical workflows that integrate AI — including structured analysis, prompt engineering, and decision-ready reporting. AI becomes a practical tool for accelerating intelligence production and strengthening analytical confidence, not an abstract capability.

— Core Workforce Competencies

Capabilities Developed Through Training.

Upon completing the program, every participant will have developed the repeatable analytical workflows and applied techniques to — establishing a consistent capability across your organization:

★  Detect and characterize narratives forming across the information environment

★  Assess narrative intent, spread patterns, and audience influence

★  Identify coordinated influence campaigns and disinformation operations

★   Evaluate source credibility and emotional dynamics within narratives

★  Apply repeatable AI-assisted workflows to accelerate analysis and reporting

★  Produce structured intelligence products that support operational decisions

★   Apply ethical standards and analytic tradecraft to all intelligence work

★   Evaluate source credibility and emotional dynamics within narratives

— Core Curriculum

Six Core Learning Areas.

Each engagement is structured around these foundational areas, sequenced and scoped to your team's needs, timeline, and operating domain.
Narrative Intelligence Foundations

How information influences perception, decision-making, and behavior. The principles and methodology for detecting, characterizing, and assessing narratives in complex environments.

Cognitive Domain & Information Environment

How narratives form, evolve, and spread. How nation-states, organizations, and non-state actors use information as an instrument of influence — and what that means for your operating context.

Source Evaluation & Influence Mapping

Frameworks for evaluating source credibility, mapping actor networks, identifying influence patterns, and detecting coordinated campaigns — essential for producing reliable assessments.

AI-Enabled Analysis

Practical application of AI to analytical workflows — including prompt engineering, emotion analysis, and pattern recognition — using the EdgeTheory platform to generate decision-ready outputs.

Applied Scenarios & Practical Exercises

Live exercises drawn from your team's actual operating environment — geopolitical events, influence campaigns, reputation challenges, or emerging risks — applied in real time on the platform.

Intelligence Production & Decision Support

How to translate analysis into structured products that support operational and strategic decisions. Analytic tradecraft, ethical standards, and the communication disciplines that move intelligence to action.

— Core Workforce Competencies

Capabilities Developed Through Training.

Upon completing the program, every participant will have developed the repeatable analytical workflows and applied techniques to — establishing a consistent capability across your organization:

🛡️

Defense & Intelligence Agencies

How information influences perception, decision-making, and behavior. The principles and methodology for detecting, characterizing, and assessing narratives in complex environments.

🏛️

Government & Public Sector

Prepare policy, communications, and intelligence teams to understand how narratives influence public opinion, legislative environments, and interagency decisions — and to act on that understanding faster.

🏢

Corporate Intelligence & Risk Teams

Give your analysts and communications teams a repeatable framework for detecting reputational threats, competitive narratives, and market-moving influence campaigns — before they require a crisis response.

📡

Strategic Communications

Strengthen communications and public affairs teams with the analytical discipline to understand the environment they're operating in — not just the messages they're sending into it.

🔍

Research & Think Tanks

Integrate proven methodologies into research teams working on geopolitical trends, information operations, social influence, and national security — adding analytical rigor and platform capability.

🎓

Academic & Regional Hubs

NCNI's network of regional hubs — including EdgeTheory Lab at the University of Mississippi — offers on-site training experiences for institutions developing this capability within their communities.

— Core Workforce Competencies

Capabilities Developed Through Training.

Upon completing the program, every participant will have developed the repeatable analytical workflows and applied techniques to — establishing a consistent capability across your organization:
01

Discovery Consultation

We begin with a structured conversation about your team's size, domain, current analytical capability, and decision support needs. This shapes the engagement scope and platform configuration.

02

Program Design

EdgeTheory Lab designs a custom curriculum and selects live scenarios from your operating environment — geopolitical, commercial, reputational, or security-focused — to anchor every exercise in your context.
03

Delivery

Each engagement is delivered in-person — at NCNI or at your location — combining instructor-led instruction with hands-on platform exercises and applied scenarios your team executes in real time.
04

Operational Capability

Your organization leaves with a standardized methodology, platform proficiency, and the analytical workflows to support better decisions — not a one-time training outcome, but a repeatable, scalable capability.
