Kudzu Narrative Intelligence Brief: "Electric Vehicles" Trending in US Media

Ford’s release of the F-150 Lightning, an electric version of the automotive firm’s classic pickup truck, has propelled the narrative electric vehicles among both the U.S. media and congressional members. As of Friday morning, 72 sources have amplified more than 100 unique narratives related to electric vehicles over the last 30 days. The top individual amplifiers of unique narratives associated with electric vehicles include ReutersCNBC, and the New York Times. The phrase f-150 lightning has appeared 183 times in the more than 100 relevant narratives analyzed by Kudzu. 

Outside of Ford’s electric truck announcement, other leading unique narratives in the U.S. media related to electric vehicles include President Biden’s infrastructure plan and an upcoming White House visit from South Korean President Moon Jae-In at which climate issues are expected to be a top priority.
