"Biotechnology" Narrative Being Amplified by the US Media

Seventy-seven U.S. media sources have amplified more than 100 unique narratives related to biotechnology over the last 30 days. As of Wednesday morning, the leading amplifiers of content include Reuters, CNN, and CNBC; Patti Domm, a news editor with CNBC, currently leads amplifications among journalists.

Some major themes emerging from the biotechnology narrative include healthcare inequities, the US Innovation and Competition Act, a recently passed bill aimed at countering China’s expanding socioeconomic influence, and the coronavirus.
